Upcoming Events

  • The Haiku Society of America will include forsythia leaves in its anthology in pine shade.

  • In Lima, Peru many hands are busy collating, binding and fixing with elegant ties the limited-edition artists’ book Fábulas Reales. This is an annual project of Taller 72, a more-than-30-year-old collective of printmakers and central to the graphics community there. I am very pleased to have been invited to contribute a short — very short — story (in Spanish) and a print in a limited edition to illustrate it. Each artist gets 4 copies of the finished book and it is exhibited in Latin America and will be here in my Dalet show and, I hope, in other places.

  • Grit N Glory gallery in Manhattan’s Orchard Street (much changed from when I arrived) will show Musician, a print "illustrating" my late husband’s play upon my instrument.

  • Language and Culture will publish Goya’s Frescoes/Frescos de Goya in a bi-lingual edition in spring of 2011.

  • Peckham, taking, alas, only second place in the world-wide Printmaking Today event in Italy will participate in a two-person exhibition. Date to be announced.
